The HBO poster is such a waste I’m not even bothering. 2/3 of the poster is a Cotto-Margarito 24/7 graphic, and the guys actually fighting on Saturday are down at the bottom, sort of as a reminder that there’s also live boxing Saturday on HBO. Chavez Jr was coming off a win over boxer/puncher Ray Sanchez by a 6th round knockout at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico on December 1, 2007. It was not only JC Jr”s biggest knockout of his career but also his best performance overall. The kid showed he was not just a namesake. He fought with a lot of heart, proved he has a good chin and any questions about his boxing skills were answered.
